Not that I care what he says, but I just flipped to ESPNU to hear him say that what he likes about coaching at USuC is that anytime you do something good, it is the 1st time that it has been done. 10 wins last year, 3 in a row over UGA were some of his examples. How sad it must be to be a fan of a school with no winning tradition. Look at all of the things that they can hope for that we will never have again. They can still hope for their 1st undefeated season and we've already had a few, they can hope for their 1st NC and we've already had one. They have so much to look forward to and so little of a chance of ever getting there.

Tiger fan but I think Spurrier was very appropriate with his comments. Their fan base should be happy today. They had that stadium jumpin' last night and they came out to play. We need to worry about ourselves and hopefully running the table so it sets up a game that the Gameday crew wants to cover. That team is going to be sitting at number 3 today and they are travelling to play an LSU team that frankly hasn't looked that good this year. I think next weekend, or the weekend after may be a breaker deal for them but you gotta give them some credit. Just sayin'

UF is back so they're wasting their time. That's not a sustainable program in that league. That's why they are the "runt."
By the way, I'm not from the state, so I don't think I ever paid attention to their entrance. I knew about the 2001 thing, but the rooster in the pen with fireworks might be the trashiest thing out there.

I'm glad we didn't play em last night in the cockroach. And I'm glad we've got plenty of time to prepare for them, b/c if that team did that to UGA's defense, just imagine what they'll do to ours. These are strange times we are living in. If you had told me that it was going to be a rout....I would have replied how bad will UGA put it on them? I watched the entire game and was stunned. It could have easily been 42-0. The dominated the line of scrimmage. Completely. That Mayan prophesy thing.....might be time to take it seriously.
All that said, we can still beat them in late Nov. Lots can happen b/t now and then. We shall see....

i think SCAR is a really good team and their defense is as good as anybodys in the country...i just think its funny that Spurrier likes to tell everybody at every chance he gets what SCAR was b4 he got there.

laugh, thinking: Old Stevie boy is laying a big one on little, ole Mark. It was funny to watch how inept and shell-shocked the Georgia crowd was. I chose SCAR over UGA in the Donors' Pick Em this week simply because I thought Spurrier had Richt's number...and he did...again.
