Can see it now, all fielders are wearing and they all look down to get the pitch with the bases loaded……and everybody steals.

How long before someone gets the Russians to hack the system in order to steal pitches and radio the call to the batter?

Isn't that expected from the nerd team, I would suspect them cheating with anything they do, especially if they were on point, and looking good doing it!!!

Seems like they should just ban the videos of catchers signs...
Everyone checking calculators will make the game longer.
It also puts more emphasis on the coach vs the player.

How are the signals broadcast?

Bet I could make a mint hacking into that comm protocol and calling some nice pitches for my hitters. 3-2 count? Always gonna be a fastball. You could even have the pitch call signaling to your 1st base coach's smartwatch and let him give a conventional call to the hitter on every pitch.

I would always punch in a fast ball on a 3-2 pitch, with my pitcher under standing that the pitch was up to him, and hope that he threw what pitch was working better for him at that time!!! I know that when a pitcher has a blazing fast ball working for him, an off speed pitch usually always has a batter swinging at air!!!

Seems like a recipe for something going terribly wrong.

We can’t afford it. Had to give that money to Brownell’s assistants.

Well if your defense wears them and they shift based on curveball to the pull side because of it you are basically tipping your hand anyway.
