Your AD, Ray Tanner, was head of the selection committee. He is the one that put Florida as a #1 seed even though they lost 6 out their last 7 games and did not win their conference title. He is the one that put 4 SEC teams as home teams for the regionals. He is the one that put Vandy in our regional for the third time. He is the one who the coots in that high school regional jn greenville, N.C. What is your next dumb question ?

Actually, the committee made that decision. It’s not a committee of one,
Most teams and players want to play at home. It’s never easy to go on the road in the postseason and win.

No offense but I find it very ignorant of you to say that. I know Mr. Tanner personally. He is a great guy. Very professional and knowledgeable. Holds himself to the utmost honesty and integrity. Could talk baseball with him for hours though!

The fact you THINK it was fair says it all. What else would you think?

“Fair” is subjective.
Most teams prefer to play at home.

Could talk baseball with him for hours though! So that means he won’t stack the deck in favor of his team/conference if it means a better outcome for him? That he would sacrifice that better outcome for the sake of being polite?
I’ve heard those things about RT but I don’t think that makes him immune from the pressures of success. Not blaming him for our mediocre showing but I think he must have been complicit in what looks like some skewed scheduling

Let's see, we played RPI #12 on the road and you had RPI #38 at your place. But we received a gift draw of a regional?

I am not complaining about it but if you think Vandy is not more talented than any team besides yall in the regional that y'all are in you are crazy. Talent doesn't always mean a good team or that a team has played well tho. We should have won the first game against them but left to many on in scoring position. Good luck to y'all!

Few teams want to play a Vandy in the postseason. But I think most teams would prefer to be at home regardless.

Haha yep, stupid Coots think they’ve done something. They don’t know the rigors of playing at home against Vandy and their whistler. Now that’s a challenge.
Boogeyman Ray knew Vandy was better than ECU. F YOU RAY.

Yeah, we got to play them in Nashville which makes our series win kind of meaningless.

Obviously great because your team is sitting at home on the couch while mine will be battling in a Super Regional for a CWS spot.... Nice try at a jab though ??

Good luck to y'all. Arkansas is a lot better than UNCW. We should have won our regional but it sure would have been nice to play a small school to get through.

Isn't it cute how the disappointment drones reset their TNet passwords just as soon as there's a little crack in the armor .

Nobody said they couldn't. It is still easier to beat ECU and UNCW. We had Vandy the first game and let them get it.

You gave up 9 dingers in one game and you're complaining about the tournament pairings? Vanderbilt wasn't among the top 50 in home runs or really any meaningful offensive category and you gave up 9 homers and 19 total runs. It's like giving up 9 homers and 19 runs to the 65 Dodgers. Playing the way you did, do you honestly believe that there was any regional that you could have won?
