Shotgun Alley Tailgating

Anyone tailgated in a Shotgun Alley parking spot since they angled the spaces and made the road one way only? Is there room to tailgate, or do you have to set up a tent on a grassy area in front of your spot?

side has a sidewalk, the other...well, you just pull the car in as far as you can & tailgate in the road.
