What did Spiller run? A 4.38?
I say 4.4.
People throw out "I ran a 4.4 or a 4.5 in high school" when a normal fast human runs a 5.0 flat. 4.4 is FAST. 4.3 times means you're world class.

I saw the video of CJ, and he did 4.27 and 4.28 as "unofficial" times in his runs. Funny thing is how Jacoby ran him down, passed him, and turned back to block for him on one of his TD runs. Both were great sprinters, and so is Sammy.

had track speed, but not very good FB speed...least w/
the ball in his hand; So it seem.
But with Spiller, I have never seen him caught from be
hind...did with Ford.

So did I. The argument is that Ford didn't have a ball in his arms at the time, and CJ did. That makes a difference. Ford was the 60 meter champion, and was leading the 100 when he pulled a muscle. The take away is that all 3 are very gifted sprinters, and any team would be delighted to have their speed.

I don't recall Ford being caught from behind either. He did, and probably still does, hold the 60 meter dash record for the NCAA, and he was leading the guy from LSU in the 100 when he pulled a muscle. That said, both were fast, and so is Sammy. I couldn't catch any of them on a race horse.

It's so hard to tell. Kendall Wright comes to mind as a burner/deep threat kind of guy and he struggled to get a 4.6
I think there are so many factors at play, so I'm being a little more conservative
