That fridge compressor will seize...

Jan 29, 2014, 5:01 PM

in a matter of minutes without oil in it. Unless of course you can somehow turn it 90 degrees.

Or a punishment box for children and midgets.

Reckon they just drilled a hole through the back of it

Jan 29, 2014, 7:04 PM

to drain it? Maybe use a livewell plug to keep it sealed when in use. My brother has an old fridge that I could try this with. Build the box out of rough sawn cypress. This sounds like a great spring project. Right after I plant my garden.

Well that just puts a Yeti to shame.***

I used to fish a couple ponds in Blythwood

Jan 29, 2014, 6:11 PM

Use to fish a pond up 21 just on the other side of town (towards Winnsboro). And another one just before you get to Blythewood.
If you're coming from Cola. down 21, right after you pass Firetower Rd., at the bottom of the hill on the left is a little, block house with yellow trim. There's a pond behind that house that I fished too.

Yeah, that one before Blythewood blew out a few months ago...beavers weakened it and rains helped. I live of N.
Firetower.

I've fished all up and down the Edistoes. Did well with the redbreast last year.

I use to live in that little block house

Jan 29, 2014, 7:08 PM

at the bottom of the hill there, just past Firetower rd. on the left. Went to Spring Valley my senior year.

And yea, there were a few weeks this past spring before the rains started that the red breast were eatin it up.

That house is for sale I think!

Went a couple times in the fall on S. Edisto up near Bamberg and caught some really nice fish.
