That no one is rejoicing is exactly what I'm saying.
No side is happy with this situation, familiar as it is.

JK and his minions have really shown their truest colors this year. With Brad showing an uncharacteristic level of success they’ve worked double overtime to keep angst high while still finding time to throw players under the bus. Meanwhile Cobbox reveals that “Brad Brownell is too good for Clemson”. These folks are doing very little to hide their contempt for Clemson.

The same folks that have been predicting and hoping that this team will choke so that they can say they sre right about Brownell are happy we lost. They can’t deny it.

That’s not how it works and I’m one of his biggest detractors. You’re going full Brownell Bros but remember “Brad Brownell is too good for Clemson” is what they believe.

I can predict a choke and hope that I'm wrong.
I want to win every single game in every sport Clemson plays in.
But recognizing long-standing flaws and being pretty sure the team will lose, because it's what this team and this coach does time after time after time after time (14 years worth), is NOT by any stretch of the imagination the same as wanting them to lose.
If you were in my living room, you'd know that there is nothing positive in losing games like last night. There is no exhilaration, only seething rage.

Tied for 4th in the league, 20+ wins and going to the nc2a tournament. Not sure what else you expect from a coach/team. Especially from a program where these results are a rarity

Nobody happy the Tigers lost, just frustrated as he!! losses like tonight and throughout the season happen every single year. When the season appears to be heading in the right direction there is always a road block that every season halts it.

I agree. Disappointing loss but the childish behavior over a loss from our fans is worse. No one that traveled with our team or no one left behind was n Clemson wanted to lose and those guys have way more at stake than anyone on this site. It’s disrespectful and shameful that every single time we don’t come out on top that the same group of children here are so frustrated that we don’t win every game. Win one where were and underdog, they say we should have won by more. Lose one we aren’t supposed to, fire everyone. That’s so easy to do from a keyboard. I’d love to have some of you folks work for me ona real job. It would be great to see just how #### good you really are.

Yet another 20+ year old account that suddenly feels the need to weigh into the Brownell wars in insincere terms? If this is remotely serious can you please point me to your outrage at the exponentially higher volume of negative things said on this board about our football coach during last season? Because you cannot possibly take umbrage at anything said about Brad and not gone full apecrap about the stuff said about Dabo.

I would love to see you work for me hot shot, because I don’t believe in participation trophy’s!!! You have a specific period of time to prove you are the person for the job and I guarantee it would not take 14 YEARS of, at best, mediocrity before you would be unemployed!!

I’d love a rollercoaster ride. It has highs. Brad can’t even lock down the 4th seed. And when he was racking up all those ACC wins last year I knew we were pretty much a lock not to make the tourney because of all the early season debacles. Of course he played his way out in excellent fashion by winning just enough to get on the bubble then losing to the worst team in the Power 5 (Louisville). But that’s hardly a rollercoaster. We know we aren’t actually gonna do jack squat with him as coach. Remember when Dabo was losing to SCar and their fans openly lobbied for us to keep him forever? They just shifted the joke to Brownell and some folks are too stupid to catch on.
