The Rivalary.....Just some food for thought

Clemson has dominated the rivalry since it began in 1896 with a record of 66-42-4. Despite the gamecocks winning five years in a row recently. Clemson still holds the record for longest streak of 7 that took place in the 1930s. Clemson has also won at least three in a row 11 times while Carolina has only done it 5 times.

This is the game that I look forward to the most. The local news team usually does a USC-Carolina special series around this time. Spending time on thanksgiving with both Carolina and Clemson fans at the family dinner. All the trash that has been talked on season finally comes to an end and we see who gets to have bragging rights for the next year. *Fingers crossed its the Tigers*

But I would like for the Clemson-Carolina rivalry to be well-known and respected like the other big rivalries that have been going on just as long. Rivalries like Auburn-Alabama, USC-UCLA, Michigan-Ohio State get more respect and more of aware of just how much of a rivalry this truly is. I would like both teams to grow their programs and do well that way more respect would be given to what I think is the best rivalry around in NCAA sports.

Yeah i understand that side of it too but thats why no one gives our rivalry any attention when the record does look that bad.

we win and they lose. Other than the 0-21 streak they went on, my favorite times were when they were sitting at 5 wins and we sent them home for the holidays.
