I'm not buying the hype yet.
I think FSU has the talent and depth to compete with Clemson. I still think (especially with the hire of Riley) Clemson has the advantage, even on a neutral field, in 2023.

FSU is on the rise, but hopefully Clemson is still saying not yet, not yet. A good FSU is good for the ACC, and also good for the Tigers. Iron sharpens iron.

We all know that Clemson isn't going to beat the Noles every year..just
like the Noles run, it came to an end after bobby left. The new era will
prove that the wins will not become several in a row- talent and good
coaching will be an equalizer.

I may be in the minority here but I’m still not completely sold on FSU and Norvell. They show dashes on brilliance and then they are right back to bad clock management and have way too many penalties. Also, some bad play calling like the toss on the goal line against LSU.

FSU has 4 or 5 returning starters that are lights out, pure studs.
Beyond that, they have a good first string.
But to be top five or a CFP caliber we have seen that you’ve gotta have depth, particularly on the defensive line and offensive line.
Time will tell, but I don’t think they’re quite there yet.

Good enough at OL, DL, RB, WR, TE. (That is assuming the guys we brought in through the portal this year are good enough to either start or provide quality depth.)
Need help at DB, LB.
And, if Jordan Travis misses extensive time at QB, we are in real trouble. Rodemaker and Curry are improving, but nowhere near the JT level.
