I believe in these guys to get it fixed by postseason. Hopefully we will finish the regular season strong enough to still get a national seed.

I want to believe but deep down think we are still a couple years away from being back. It’s been a great year and who knows. We could get hot again and it can be a fantastic year. Either way I’m very proud of this team. Sure beats the final year we had with Monte.

Been a great second year for Bakich, especially wirh some of the injuries. But I don’t think the pitching can improve enough to make a deep postseason run. They can’t hold a lead in a close game. They have all had plenty of opportunities, but none of them have stepped up and shown any consistency. We may survive the regional this year with a favorable draw, but that’s probably best case realistically.

More than any other sport I know, baseball is streaky. This is a time for Clemson to show their character. We have gone through good times and adversity. We ran into a hot, good team at Wake and suffered the losing end of a sweep, but I think this team does have the character to pull out of this slump and right the ship. This week will be critical.
