Listening to his PC this morning, he is very impressive in terms of how he presents himself and Clemson. Unlike many ADs who use a lot of words to say very little, he is able to clearly communicate an answer to the question.

IMO we are lucky to have him as AD.

When he starts making tough decisions that lead to the good of Clemson sports, I'll weigh in. Just because he's a good mouthpiece doesn't mean he's a good athletic director.

I think he made a good call on our baseball coach and in some of our new Lady coaches. Also loving some of the facilities popping up around Clemson.

Neff is an advocate, CEO and CFO all rolled into one and we are lucky to have him.

ummmm. i've seen him a decent bit. he is definitely executive management type

and seemingly image driven. his choice in words , he is very good with communication and controlling emotions of the audience.


i've only seen him on gamedays but for multiple hours pregame and during the game and post game since he started his AD role.

I'd say it's been a mixed bag, but more good than bad.

Good:
Upgrading the baseball coach
Approaching realignment behind the scenes

Bad:
Writing a public letter to Brownell
Failure to secure a no vote on ACC expansion


The real measure of his success will be:
- successfully exiting the acc
- successfully merging Iptay & NIL

I am not sure a no vote on expansion was possible given the teams likely to be left behind needed the additional teams to meet the minimum threshold required for ESPN to keep paying at the current level. If I were Cuse or BC or Wake, there is no way I would have voted no.
