These preseason write ups for college basketball are so dumb. These analysts have so many teams to keep up with, they have very limited knowledge of each team. They rely on googling and looking at stats.
I don't care if it is a former player. He has no inside knowledge of our team.

Seems like a pretty fair assessment to me. How do you know they don't have time to keep up with all these teams? Is it their full time job or just a hobby?

I should rephrase. These write ups are good for people that have limited knowledge in their team, and other teams in the ACC.
It's stunningly obvious that PJ Hall needs to stay healthy if we are go in g to have a good year.
It's also obvious that we need someone to step up at PG. anybody paying attention knows we lost honor and dawes, and Llewelyn committed and then decommitted.
There is nothing in this article that I didn't already know.

What did you learn from this write up viztiz? That we were going to have a big team? That PJ Hall needs to stay healthy for us to have a good year? Oh, what about the fact that we are replacing our PGs? Did you learn that?
Again, I love TO. He's better than most, but that doesn't change the fact that there is nothing new in this write up. I guess if you are a casual fan that doesn't really pay attention, it might help.

Yes, and sharing 10+ podcast/articles/write ups that all literally say the same exact thing is dumb.
Nobody needs a podcast or an article to realize we need pj hall to stay healthy.

For example, he has nc state ranked ahead of us. Could it happen? I guess, but there's nothing on paper that shows them being better than us.
They were dead last in the ACC last year. 4 of their top 5 scorers either left or transferred. They signed the #67 ranked class including transfers. Their best transfer is a big man from Winthrop. Their next best big man averaged 4 points in over 20 minutes of action last year.

BB nuts.
Does this perception sound like I'm "sucking brownell's nuts"?? Or are you just too stupid to come up with anything intelligent to say?
Brownell has done some good things at Clemson but has been inconsistent. His seat is very hot and if we don't have a strong season this year, then he should probably be fired. I could see a scenario where we retain brownell after an average yearwe, but the young talent looks very promising and we look to be very good the following year.

Some people here are just so anti-Brownell that they can't think clearly.
They've decided that he stinks and should be fired, and nothing that anyone can say will convince them otherwise.
This is an important year. As you said, we need PJ to stay healthy and we also need to develop a reliable rotation in the backcourt.
We certainly have some talented players and can have a good year. I wish our "fans" would be patient and let the season play out before piling on the coach and team.

After Neff and BB met prior to FB season I was left with the impression that Neff drew a line in the sand concerning where he expects the BB team to be this season. I think that Neff made it clear that if BB can't accomplish it, he's done at Clemson

He also allowed Brownell to go out and hire new assistants on 2 year contracts. So pretty sure it’s a 2 year line in the sand.

it can't be used for intramural football, the 4th most popular sport at Clemson, behind varsity football, varsity softball and varsity baseball. I suggest we leave it grass.

And everything the Administration needs to give BB a raise and contract extension. If that occurs, might as well make it a lifetime contract.

This season. Has them 12th. Good analysis indicating the keys are PJ beng healthy and getting quality play from the PG spot. See link:

Yeah 12th isn't going to cut it. The only way Brownell gets a "one more year pass" from me is if we finish in the top 4 of the ACC and make a Elite 8 run or better. I've had enough of the lackluster BBall as a former Brownell supporter. Call it insanely lofty expectations from me but it's been 12 years! My dog could've made this program better by now and he's not even related to Air Bud.

expectations? So, why are the expectations so low? Because the people who make these predictions evidently can see what the Clemson Administration has failed to. Clemson basketball will never even approach average, as defined by finishing middle of the league, on a routine basis, under Brad Brownell. Apparently that is good enough.

And the big difference in that team is it had its top 3 guards back. And this team just has one of the 3 top guards back. Big difference. Experience talented guards win in college baaketball. Go look at that roster on that team and it has more potential than this one...
