Shefflein and Hall

Coach BB mentioned in post game neither practiced all week. PJ scored 18, but both seemed to lack a little energy last PM. What is their injury/ illness? We desperately need both at full speed. Why is Wiggins only getting limited minutes?

Hall did look a little tired at the end. Wiggins does not play defense and will only earn more playing minutes when he does.

You should see Ian's legs up close. Multiple large sections of purple bruising.

You may be a cugrad but have you ever heard of HIPPA? No rule in basketball to disclose players who are out or questionable like the NFL has.

Usually coaches will say knee issue or flu like illness or at least a general comment without giving away personal health information. Yes I’ve heard of HIPPA!

They have both been limited in practice for weeks.

We play an especially physical brand of basketball on both ends and ask a lot of our big men. Tough defense and lots of ball screens take their toll.
Their durability is definitely a concern the rest of the way…

you dont have to be involved with the team. all you need is the coach to say it more than once. but hey we you know you to busy writing sh!t about the coach and team. we know you aint ever ben to a game so you could listen to pre and postgame pressers.

I honest to God pity you. JK and his 20 Clemson hating scocks are pathetic. But you are just sad. Trying to come off the top turnbuckle into a debate you don’t understand and you always join the side that openly mocks you.

You have no idea what you're talking about. 80% or more of my commentary is direct response to bs that he and his minions post. I don't create a lot of original posts and even more rarely do I create one with anything negative to say about Clemson. You're jumping into the middle of other people's posts with complete disregard for context. You know absolutely nothing about me. If "ALL I KOW IS YOU HATE CLEMSON BASKETBALL, ITS COACH AND PLAYERS. AND HAVE NEVER EVEN BEEN TO A GAME." then you have a very poor ability to interpret information, you react without thinking, and you react in a overly emotional manner. It is seriously unbecoming for someone who seems to think himself an elder statesman amongst Clemson fans.

Wiggins is seeing fewer minutes now that Jack Clark is back.

That isn’t surprising, since Clark was the starter when the season began, before he was injured again.
Wiggins needs to improve his defense and rebounding. When he does, he will be a star.

It’s just amazing that folks on here used to take you seriously. When he gets better at defense (half of the game) and rebounding (important part of both halves of the game) “he will be a star”. Future perfect tense. So these talents are innate and we just don’t want him to elevate his game? Or anyone can be Dennis Rodman with a little effort and coaching?

Based on a Bayesian statistical model of player performance, Clark brings a better defensive presence to the game relative to Wiggins. Wiggins may be slightly better offensively, but Clark is overall the better player at this time.

The gymnastics coach also mentioned athletes out due to illness, and a parent page says Redfern and all the local urgent cares stay booked up. There are all kinds of respiratory and stomach bugs making the rounds.

To be honest, I thought Wiggins should have made more progress defensively since last season. He got a decent amount of exposure playing limited minutes last year to know where he needed to commit to improving. The staff has shown capability to coach up the forwards and centers these past few years, so I guess he needs to decide if he really wants it. His size and outside shooting has NBA potential if he’s willing to get to work on the complete package. Brownell needs him to get after it because Clark will be gone and needs to be ready.
