SEC Network-DirecTV

Anyone know if the SEC Network is available on DirecTV's basic package or do you need to upgrade to get it. TIA.

I think I have the CHOICE package, and it's on there. I'm not sure about the basic package. I think it's channel 611 (or 411) so check the lineup for your package.

What I've been told is that you need the choice package or better to get $ECN

have the basic package...you cant even get ESPNU, FS1, NFL Network, and some other sports channels witht the basic package.

is that the cost of going once is more than the additional cost of the upgrade for a whole month!

So if you plan on going more than four times to watch games at a bar, then you should upgrade and then return it to the basic package after the football season.
