Had a good run…but just tested positive for the first time. Curious if anyone has experience with Paxlovid…did it seem to help…any side effects…glad you took it?

Not interested in links to conspiracy websites, etc…just interested in personal experience. Thanks.

Covid in December. Felt like a$$. Said infirmary doc gave him a ###### and he started feeling better about a day and a half afterwards.

Many get a rebound though as the ###### is only like 5 days.

Should be 2 weeks. Anyway, not sure since I've never taken it. Known people who say it was a miracle cure, then others who said it healed them for 5 days or so and then it roared back even worse. So whatever.

I'm 90% sure I was exposed to it in Gatlinburg this past weekend. They crammed 120 people in this 10x15' gondola, with no fresh air. Smelled like baby ####, dirty socks, and BO, mixed. Standing room only. Operator smugly gets on the horn and asks who has birthdays, and we all sang "Happy Birthday" the entire way down to 5 people. Yep. You could not ask for a better super-spreading experience if you tried.

Nephew was sick with cough and fever. Niece was sick with a cough. MIL and BIL both sick too. Don't know with what. Our youngest just got over some/same? crud days before we left.

paxlovid helped me almost immediately, felt better same day, no side effects
