Matt Baker at Tampa Bay Times and Ross Dellenger at Yahoo Sports are two of the best sports writers to follow, IMHO. Always up to date info.

By the way, the point made by the article is that every single team that sued, left the conference and all but one out of the 12 cases were settled out of court.

Bottom line, we will settle this case and leave the ACC.

Anyone who doesn’t think that Clemson
is gone is not living in reality.

It's not about whether we are gone or not gone...who would want us...those conferences did not have a GOR designed to support the contract...in most cases those leaving just jumped out...really did Arkansas and TAMU lots of good...what will happen to Clemson after we get out...may not be all wine and roses...real Clemson fans worry about the outcome more than process...thet turkey from the times had been beating the FSWTC drum for a year!

All you need to know, We cannot afford to be in the ACC.
They have already accepted less playoff money then the Sec
and BIG. We cannot afford to be 30 to 50 million in revenue
behind the BIG, and the SEC. If we accept that, the we except
meiocracy. It is clear as can be. We have to get out of a
conference that has already accepted secondary status.

Agreed. The only thing to settle at this point is the amount which is why both sides are posturing in the hopes of getting the best deal.

How in itself is one matter but when is crucial as well because scheduling will be a nightmare if the ACC grants a release during a certain time of year and excludes us and FSU from the schedule before we have a landing spot.

We might expect a few lawsuits on that one! You can sue anyone for virtually anything and get respect if cash is the picture! We jump the ACC for more money...certain members with schedule in hand need our added revenue as do advertisers and allied businesses...they may want some of that shared money back! Bet junk and woof have already prepared for that one...it's all about the money! If the ACC offered the JYD $40 mil he'd kiss it right up to the brown!

You need to keep up. Judges have already ruled that FSU and Clemson have no fiduciary duty to the ACC. In case you missed it, the ACC is all of the teams in the ACC, thus FSU/Clemson owe nothing to any other team in the ACC.

Must be a miserable life living in the past.
