Dunno if Alabama would ever let him go. Although he has shown a tendency to get bored and jump ship. I don't see him doing it this time, but it would be interesting to see Bama squirm ;)

Someone posted on FB that the deal rumored to be proposed is 100+ mil over 8 years. 100k per year for housing. 30k per year for car. And use of the AD private jet.

That's a sweet deal and I wouldn't put it past tejas

Most coaches are government employees. Would love to see NCAA and congress provide legal cover for salary caps. The 120 D1 football teams will win about 720 games over the course of a 12 game season whether the coaches get $10 million or $0.5 million/season.

Let the money stay in with the school and lower ticket prices and allow the BS games against Citadel and Furman to be substituted with real opponents like UGA and Vandy.

They're state employees. Congress needs to stay out of it. They get involved with and screw up way too many things as it is. Not sure why some of you want the Feds involved in every d@mn thing. What has the federal govt ever ran efficiently? Nothing.
