There wasn't anything wrong other than the fact Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave were all better than him and he knew it. Honestly, they didn't miss him at all.
If this departing CB is leaving because of playing time, they won't miss him either.
If he was indeed a starter, maybe something is really up in Columbus. They can't seem to fix their defensive problems despite have highly touted players.

they lose this guy but gets the guy from syracuse out the portal.. this is college football, doesn't matter what school you are, you're going to lose players to the portal these days.. we have lost 10 so far to the portal but zero to replace them, and i feel like we will lose more as soon as some realize they are 3rd or 4th on depth chart.

In fact ,at this point 7 have decided to come back using COVID year exemption,add recruiting class to that ,we are at 88, so NO Room for Portalers.
READ SLOOOOOOOOOWLY, when you lose backups to the portal, YOU ARE NOT gonna entice players leaving other schools for playing time to come here for 3rd,possibl;y 2nd string.

They've lost less than half of what our Tigers have loss through the portal so if there are issues because of their portal, there's more serious ones here

Probably Spend too much money on the offense of players. Offense looked great. Their defense sucked.
