I really want him to to really well this year. So much in fact he leaves and goes pro because that way we will have less quarterbacks on the roster so we can slowly graduate quarterbacks to the nfl instead of probable nfl talent rotting away on the bench

I get what you're saying about him having a great year and making the jump to the NFL, but I'd love to have two years of KB at QB, while grooming Johnson, Cooper, or Lawrence to take over for him. It would be nice to have an experienced QB to throttle some teams early and get the young guys playing time in the second half to build up game experience, especially against the likes of Wake Forest, Syracuse, and The Citadel.

Although I appreciate your enthusiasm but KB won't be going pro. Not close to being a "generational" talent, and that's ok, it's why it's called once in a generation.
I'll be thrilled, overjoyed, if he just becomes a good college QB this year until we get to TL next year - although I really think Chase and/or Hunter is going to have a say in whether or not TL starts next year.

Bryant has good size, is an athletic kid, and can sling it. That alone will get him a shot in today's NFL. We'll have to see how accurate he is and if he can do anything under center, when the time comes.
Worst case for him, he'll get some looks at WR with his throwing ability coming around on trick plays.

If KB has a good year TL will not be the starter next year. He'll be brought along as the backup until KB leaves and then takeover barring injury

Didn't all of our QB's just transfer after watching TL on ESPN the other night?
If Trevyon Boykin from TCU has a job as a QB in the NFL then Kelly Bryant for sure has a shot.

Well that's not going to happen but I could see KB playing 2 years.
Then TL plays his redshirt freshman year and takes over College football.

Unfortunately someone will transfer out next year . All of these quarterbacks are too good to ride pine. I'm pretty sure if they start anywhere else

I think Israel is the first to go, probably to an Air Raid offense like ECU. He's one who will put up mega numbers, too.
