Bill Murray...Guest picker.

I love Bill Murray. He has been in so many movies that I love. And I don't have a problem with him being a part of the Gameday last Saturday. But the Guest picker is almost always given to someone who has strong ties to the host school or is an alum. Bill Murray has almost no ties to Clemson other than he has been to a couple of games. He is not a Clemson fan, at least not enough to even wear Clemson colors. They should have gotten a celebrity with real ties to Clemson and are Clemson fans themselves, such as Nancy Odeal or Brian Dawkins. Or even Lavon Kirkland. This is the 2nd times they overlooked bringing in a Clemson fan to be the guest speaker. (At least Murray wasn't wearinga K-State shirt)

I loved his Pig Shirt . Nancey is in my dreams every night, mmmmm Nancey. But maybe Bill isn't a true college football fan. (But i woundn't trust him if that was true. ) Kind of like , you could never trust a Osu fan , or a Usc fan. Lets just worry about this weeks game. And I will worry about Nancey! (Only in my dreams) Go Tigers

seems if he did he would wear Clemson colors and at least mention it once during the program, like "and my son goes to Clemson, so I'm picking the Tigers!' Nope! he never done that. When Gameday was at the Coots last year, they got Darious Rucker, who wore Carolina Colors, is an Alum, and even makes crack jokes at Clemson. At least Bill Murray (who is a comidian) could have made a crack at Carolina...but he didn't, cause he doesn't really care.

I'll go back and see if they mentioned it, but if I had a son who went to Clemson, and was asked to come speak at a huge event in Clemson, I think I might just be wearing something Clemson. Or at least something orange.
