at my sons jr. high basketball game on the USM campus. Parked next to Brett Favre’s outdoor welfare volleyball court and the baseball field. Would’ve been in Clemson if we had….well you know. Anyway, the town is fired up and really behind their team. Signs, billboards, etc. everywhere you turn. Hope they can figure out the Tennessee arms better than we did and beat the Vols.

They were jacked last year. Then Ole Miss came in and smashed them and won the whole thing. Hoping the Vols take the same path.

I have went to quite a few Marshall football games through the years & the USM fanbase is very passionate & the ones I met were very nice people....I always pull for them as long as they don't cross Clemson

USM will blitz the billboards in town for any event as they own most of the ones on 49 near campus. Baseball is the only sport that drives most of their alumni, as most of the alumni and current students are primarily LSU/Bama/MSU fans and USM fans second. They are in a weird spot due to location, but they did the best thing possible in joining the Sun Belt.
