Well first off before anything, if you’re considering the overall matchup between the 2 rosters, Clemson has a better overall roster!

There are more highly regarded players for Clemson, even Clemson’s receiving corps. Cade compared to Jordan Travis. Clemson secondary compared to FSU secondary. And the trenches as well.

I believe the Duke game was just a slap in the face that woke us up.

As far as coaching, I truly do not think Norvell is “there” yet for this type of win. It is weird because Clemson is not ranked, but all advantages are held by Clemson. This is the reality. And I think FSU fans know that.

This does not mean of course that Clemson is playing better than FSU. But I believe Clemson has the capability of doing more than FSU can.

If Clemson runs well, and limits turnovers, Clemson will honestly win this game by at least 10 points. 34-24 Clemson.

This is a statement game for us. The playoff is still in reach.

This is going to be a classic brawl that is won by the defense. Whichever defense is able to contain the other team's offense better and also, the one that wins the turnover battle, will come out the winner. We don't need to be perfect but we need to be better than we have been. This needs to be our best game of the season.

I really do view this as a toss up game and believe our home field advantage needs to be a real advantage. The crowd needs to be loud and proud to help provide that edge.

We're on the same page. Here are my thoughts from another post:

I think turnovers dictate the outcome. Talent-wise, I think it's dead even.

With no turnovers: I think it's a 3 point game. Tigers win.

With turnovers: I could see a seven-point-per-turnover swing. If we win the turnover margin 3-1, we win by 14. If we lose the turnover margin 3-1......ugly.

Rosters are competitive with each other. I give FSU the nod because I think Travis is a step ahead of Klubnik. Give me FSU 34 Tigers 23. Still think we win 9 or 10 on the year.
