For everyone on the "sign more OL-DL kick"

Let me count for you:
Next season we will have the following number of returning scholarship players and incoming players:
OL - 15 + 2 incoming recruits = 17 (can only play 5 at a time) DT - 7 +1 incoming recruit - 8 (can only play 2 at a time) DE - 7 (probably more depending on position moves) (can only play 2 at a time)
We will have:
QB - 2 + 1 incoming recruits WR - 7 + 2 incoming recruits (we play at least 3 at a time)
I know some of you buy into the myth that we don't recruit on the offensive and defensive line, but it's just that, a myth.
We held our own against the USCe pass rush and opened big holes for Rod. Our defense dominated the line of scrimmage, holding Davis to under 30 yards.
We lost because we got out coached, and our Q.B. once again refused to let the ball go and let our receivers make plays.
Boyd is the master of holding the ball too long and either running into a sack, or running into the back of our O-Line.

Yes, that is what a logical person would say

What an illogical person would say is that we need to sign every fat high school kid in South Carolina to sit on the bench and be fat, while signing only 5 WR's.

You can only have so many people on a team. We have signed several OL with other high major offers. Our O-Line was a strength this season, and should be good again next season, with the potential of add 2 4* recruits in Battle and Crowder and returning several 3* recruits with tons of in game experience.

We may have 17 OL but how many are actually good? Next year we should see a change; however, you can have 40 OL and only 2 actually worth a ####

Battle is a 4* Crowder is a 4* Norton played well Davis played well Beasley played well Anthony looked better Timothy...slumped this season Guillermo is promising MacLain (former 4* TE) will be bigger and more experienced
The thing with linemen is you often don't know what you have until they are in the program a few years. I think we have some real potential in guys we haven't even seen touch the field yet.

oh no doubt I'm excited for this upcoming year with Battle, Crowder, etc. I'm talking about this year and the last few. Only guys I can remember being of great value were Dalton Freeman and Brandon Thomas (not counting Battle this year)

Would probably make a good tackle but it to slow to see the field at TE in our offense.

We have excellent offensive linemen. We need a QB who can get rid of the ball and not lock in on receivers. Would be helpful if he KNEW plays and hot routes!!!!
