things to the table in addition to their performance. Intangibles perhaps. (It's a soggy day with no golf in the lowcountry. What is you gone do?)
1) Elevates the play of others.
2) Instills confidence in the team.
3) Increases overall production.(memory may be a bit fuzzy on that one)
3 additional(?) intangibles Cade Klubnick will provide that we've not had at the QB position the last couple of years:
1) Chutzpah.
2) Je ne sais quoi.
3) Savoir faire

FWIW, the past couple of years would've been tough for just about any QB in Clemson history. Injuries, inconsistent WR/QB play, OL a major work in progress, OC play calling/strategies just not working out.
If DW or TL would've been the QB the last couple of years, I'm thinking we're probably playoff teams but idk if we're winning it all or making it to the CFP championships with those teams.
That said, I get the feel this year we'll look like we had become accustomed to during the TL years where we'll have more games where reserves are getting playing time and less 4 QTR theatrics which we all need after these last 2 years 😂
It won't be every game but I feel like the games we're supposed to win will be handled by half of the 3rd QTR and not leave us feeling anxious about the other team playing back in like FSU did last year.
Glad practice starts up next week and Labor Day weekend can't get here fast enough!

in his first few minutes of play in the ACCCG..resulting in a W!
Maybe could of happened again vs TN if Riley had been OC that night.

Perhaps but Cade did not play well and the effort of the entire team was not great

My cousin, a diehard Tarhole fan, had high hopes for an ACC football championship.
He told his wife, "As long as Clemson plays their QB1, we'll win."
When Dabo pulled him and put in Cade, well, I cannot put his reaction on this board. But suffice it to say, if it was a video game, he threw the proverbial controller through the TV.
Imagine we'd done that against South Carolina. I know it's in the rear view, but if we know we'll lose with DJ playing, then we'd be no worse off by putting anyone on the roster at QB.

Not pulling DJ and putting Cade in the game and leaving him in the game at half time was one of the biggest coaching screwups that Dabo has done since he became HC. I don't care what anybody says or how they see it, but not putting Cade in was the biggest gift that Clemson has ever given to the coots besides the time the Chad took the ball out of our FB hands and started throwing the ball every down.

Should have also made the change at halftime of ND vs backed up inside the 10, but sometimes Dabo learns from experience vs intuition.

And it's the Je ne sais quoi that's most important. I've heard people say "I'll know it when I see it" Daba has the vision to see it when he sees it.
