An Underrated play in the 2 minute drive against Bama

We had 1st down on the Bama 40 yard line with 1:30 left. DW4 throws to Scott who laterals to Gallman. Gallman was hit hard by Marlon Humphrey who is one of the best DB's in college football. Gallman COULD have gone down after that hit which would have put us at 2nd and 14. Instead Gallman bounced off Humphrey and actually GAINED 6 yards on the play. This totally changed our mindset as far as what plays we called on 2nd and 3rd down.


Not only his hard nose running so much appreciated but he was a BEAST in pass blocking and run blocking for DW4 (the running TD by DW4 was lead by a Gallman block on the corner).
Gallman in my book goes down as the most under rated RB in Clemson football history.

Gallman is one of the most hard-nosed, difficult to tackle players that I can remember us ever having. His balance is amazing. He's not Spiller, but Spiller is the only player I can remember to compare that part of his game too. Few players have the ability to balance/shift weight as fluidly as Gallman.

Wayne Gallman was a terror running the ball and was a beast without it. He destroyed numerous blitzing defenders. Rewatched several times just to watch him.

Mike Williams was wide open over the middle with no safety help. Easy TD, but then Bama would get ball back with some time.
