All-Time Clemson FB Simulations

When COVID initially hit, several friends and I would ZOOM and watch old CU games on YouTube together on Saturday nights while drinking. One night at 1am we came up with the idea to draft our own All-Time Clemson football teams....put the rosters onto NCAA '14 on Playstation....and let the computer simulate the games. For a 2013 video game, it is surprisingly realistic to watch.
So, we drafted our teams. Being a newly stay-at-home dad, I spent the next couple of weeks creating the rosters on NCAA. Two weeks later, on Saturday night we watched our teams face off against one another over lots of drinks, and for a couple of recreational users, a joint or two.
9 teams (4 games and 1 team on bye each week) where each team plays each other once. Top 4 make playoffs...and the champion gets a stupid trophy I bought for cheap on the internet. We have completed two seasons and tomorrow night we begin Season 3. After each season we have a complicated trading session where the bad teams can get better, and the good teams get worse to balance it all out. I also act as the Sportsbook and make Spreads/Over Unders/Moneyline Odds/Championship Odds. So far the house is slightly down due to a large wager on 11/1 team that ended up winning the championship in Season 1.
In the next post I will post the 9 rosters and you can decide who will win this season's championship.

Team Woody could be pretty good. They will be running an Oregon offense with lots of read options for Woody to run. It's fun changing our offenses to match the teams we have. It's really fun seeing QB-WR combos with an older player and newer player.
