Tons of other QBs in the country with less talent around them and less talent than DJ putting up much better numbers.
He’s a bust.

No motion whatsoever that I guess would confuse him….

I think they would work out better than the one we are trying to run with him. He needs to be slinging it around. It's like we're trying to run our O with a QB like Byron Leftwich. It will never work well.

Our offense is wrong for his abilities. He would be better off somewhere in a spread offense imo. I think RE sucks as an OC, but also that DJ is a bad fit for TE's "offense".

I didn't say whose offense it was, so I can't be wrong. I have no idea whose it is. I was just correcting a typo.

First off I am not a DJ pumper, nor do I blame the "O-line", the offensive coordinator, or wide receivers who run the wrong routes nor do I blame the lack of offensive production on a vanilla game plan, or NIL, or strength and conditioning ,or lack of fundamentals, of issues with the portal( or lack of use of the portal). And I am certainly not going to blame the lack of productions on the referee's or how hot the Carrier dome was, or that Dave Doren figured we owed him one. And I can't even blame it on Georgia Tech mixing things up on defense. So have I left anything out; Yes one important factor; OUR HEAD COACH. I just gave you a playbook full of excuses ,which is all I seem to be hearing out of him after each game: QUIT WITH THE EXCUSES,AND FIX THE DANG PROBLEMS.

Although I agree blame goes on the entire offense. I would not consider Dj a bust.
You stated almost 2 whole years, he’s started 8 games in his college career. I understand he’s been on campus for 2 years but that doesn’t directly relate to field experience and that’s no where near 2 full years. Actually closer to half a season (typically have played 14-15 games a year)
I seem to remember TL16 struggling his sophomore season as well.
Not ready to give up on him if the team yet.

Struggling is one thing. What we are witnessing is not normal struggling. When is the last time that Clemson has been this bad on offense? How many QBs are playing worse than DJ right now? Why has Dabo not played Taisun? I have watched coaches all season pull ineffective quarterbacks. I am not understanding this situation at all. Dabo is the head coach and the buck stops with him. There is more to the story that Dabo is not telling. I am going to trust Dabo on this one but, I just don’t get it. How can the team not have a serviceable quarterback?

real life, DJs family has some really serious, upsetting stuff going on. Not saying that should be an excuse, but it HAS to affect him. He needs one good breakout game to turn the tide. And, it is not all on him. It is a combination of things, with the QB being the focal point.

I’m not ready to call him a bust (hoping something clicks) but for the most part I agree. We are one of the worst offenses in the country and if our line sucks with 4 star linemen I promise other teams are figuring out not being horrible with lesser lines. 50+ teams would trade WR rooms straight up. Not fair to every other player not to let TP give it a shot.

I am not ready to say that - but I have no defense against your position either.
