Question about that 'save' by CJ Jones

When Boulware hit the ball and Jones scooped it up and brought it out of the endzone, it looked like he saved us 7 points, right? Well, later on, I think it was Herby, who said that because Boulware was blocked into the ball, it wouldn't have counted anyways. I was just wondering if anyone else heard about that rule, because I didn't know until he brought it up.

have hated for it to be left up to a judgement call if boulware was indeed blocked into the ball, or the ball just bounced right at him, and he failed to get out of the way.

and I would rather have what happened happen than to leave it in the hands of the video booth. We got the calls we needed from the video replay guys on the night. Glad that one was not required to review.
