Going to BC for the game this weekend. Advice needed.

Hey ya'll! The hurricane is chasing us out of Charleston so we are driving up to BC for the Clemson game.
The problem is that finding info on hanging out before and after the game at BC is almost nonexistent. I know that tailgating is not an option for visitors so my question is this....
For those of you who have been to BC where do you recommend we go before or after the game? We are in a nearby town called Newton which is about 2.5 miles from Chestnut Hill. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Stay at harborside on the waterfront, you can walk to the black rose only 2 blocks away(official Clemson bar in Boston). The rail is half a block, transfer out to bc, but stop by the butcher shoppe in the south end(best burger ever)

Pacific there are some bars along the road that runs adjacent to the campus- sorry don't know name of the road
You can also sometimes join a BC party that is happening - I have some friends that went to BC and have tailgated with them but you are correct about tailgating
You can also walk around the campus (it is not too big) and there is a church which is pretty interesting up the hill from where the fb stadium entrance is
Unfortunately it is not like Clemson with Esso club etc
I don't know if CU Alumni has anything going on but they normally stay in downtown Boston where there is a lot to do
I am heading up on Friday as I live in NJ

Go to Neptune Oyster in the North End.

If you don't like oysters (which are awesome there), get a hot buttered lobster roll. Most lobster rolls in Boston are mayonnaise based, but they have one that is just melted butter over amazing lobster on perfectly toasted Italian bread. Wow.

Boston College Pre-Game Party at The Black Rose
October 7 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Heading to Boston this week for the Clemson vs Boston College game on Friday, October 7th? Be sure to stop by the Black Rose from 2-5 PM on Friday before heading out to Chestnut Hill for fellowship with other members of the Clemson Family. The Clemson Alumni Association, IPTAY and the New England Clemson Club will be providing appetizers while they last and a cash bar will be available.
The Black Rose is conveniently located in the heart of Faneuil Hall (160 State St, Boston, MA 02109) with the closest T Station a two minute walk away at the Aquarium Center. Take the Blue Line to the Government Center and then take the Green Line Westbound to Chestnut Hill. Travel time on the T is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Chestnut Hill, it is approximately a 15 minute walk to Alumni Stadium.
We hope to see CU at the Black Rose on Friday, October 7th! If you have any questions, please contact Lesley Horton at lesleyh@clemson.edu or Lindsey Leonard at lsweval@clemson.edu.
Date: Friday October 7th Time: 2-5 PM Location: The Black Rose, 160 State St, Boston, MA 02109

I ate at one in Chestnut Hill many times years ago. Now there are several scattered around the Boston Area to include in the Burlington Mall although it's been several years since I have been there. Check to find closest locations. They have also spread to Washington D.C. and other areas. The original one might have been in Chestnut Hill. Check your phone for possible locations.

Lord Hobo, Sunset Tap & Grill, The Publick House and Legal Seafood. The North End for Italian.
When I remember the bar that all the Clemson people tailgate I will tmail you. It's Cityside at the last stop on the T.
Go to Southie and say Whitey Bulger is an Irish prick.
My favorite road trip. Not for the game, but for the town.
