I have recently started feeling some wobble/shaking in the steering wheel when I press the brakes. This means I need new rotors right? I replaced the pads in July so there is no way those are bad yet. Any helpful or Joungy comments are appreciated and expected. Thanks all.

You can take the rotors off, soak them in bleach and then coat them with peanut butter and then put them back on. You should try that before just replacing them on a whim.

They can probably be turned to smooth them out.

But of course a mechanic would rather sell you new ones, so you may need a couple opinions.
Or you can switch to an 03 expedition with a lift kit and you'll never notice that little wobble anymore.

Find a tire shop or a mechanic that can do it, try Pendleton Tire and see if they do it.

They can be turned on a lathe to true their surfaces back to straight and parallel for about $100.

lathe attachment. Put the rotors in the microwave covered in tin foil for like 7 minutes first though....gotta get them hot before they'll smooth out good.

just pads replaced and if not a shady tree mechanic they should have checked the rotors... now how many calipers do you have? could be a sticking caliper .. easy to rebuild yourself if you compressed air.

There are 4 calipers, one for each wheel. How do I know if it's sticking? I am not a brakes expert.

Seems like a mechanic would have noticed your rotors needing turned or replaced at that time. I mean, any mechanic with even like a tiny amount of mechanic in him would have noticed and mentioned this.
Something is awry, but it seems like it would be weird that your rotors would get worn between July and now while having new brake pads.
I'd probably just sell the car and get a dragon boat if I were you.

by the "eye test" they looked fine and I was not experiencing wobble then.

If it was a Jeep, I'd say steering stabilizer. Put sugar in the gas tank to winterize, and clean the grime off of your headlights with sand paper.
