Believe it or not, I agreed with the majority of what you said. Where you lost me was our secondary. Two things. Yes, we were thin at corner last year and depending on how you look at it, lacked consistency at safety, but if you think that we were going to show Bama anything like how we laid the wood to them in the NC, your crazy. You used the word torched. Our secondary did all that and then some to the “best” offense in College football. Your chickens enjoyed the benefit of strategy knowing USUC had no chance to kiss the ring. Second, with our incoming and freshmen now a year more mature, I will extend my sympathy to you and dirtpecker nation. Make no mistake, I still say your chickens win 6 games, maybe seven, but your QB will be intercepted more than once against our secondary. Notice I didn’t refer to Bentley.... It won’t matter which one is in the game.

I mean, it's ok he knows our players, rates them highly and thinks we'll cruise back to the CFP. That last part where he was wishing and hoping and praying will not put a "W" on the board for the Gamecocks.
The usual slap at our schedule is duly noted and appreciated. Some of the sting is missing from the A-She-She poke now that we've played and beaten the best SEC team like a drum and won 2 outta 3 against Bama Daddy and hold scoreboard on TAMU, LSU, Auburn, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Auburn and Missouri. I mean, we've done better in the SEC than South Carolina, so where is the sting in that coming from a Gamecock?
