Mrs. Swinney

Mrs. Swinney - I don't know her, never seen her in person and most probably never will. She must be an amazing lady - always smiling, always supportive, for sure, ALL IN. I know she does a lot of charity work and obviously is a "mother" to a lot of student-athletes. I'll offer a big "shout out" and "thank you" to her. I have a feeling she could coach some teams as well..!!

Google her, she's a great lady that's had her share of trouble. She lost a sister to breast cancer and opted for a double mastectomy.

Could not have been stated better! Both Dabo and Kathleen are a class act and I am MOST PROUD to have them representing our Clemson and Tiger Nation! Hats off to a fine, spirited couple!

Kathleen story from Fan Appreciation

Kathleen Swinney may be the most genuinely kind person you'll ever meet. She is the perfect compliment to Dabo.
At this year's Fan Appreciation Day in August, severe thunderstorms caused everyone to have to leave the inner part of the stadium so they moved all of us waiting on Dabo's signature into the visitor'a tunnel until the 30 minute lightning strike period ended.
When it became apparent that we'd never get back onto the field to get autographs, they came to the tunnel and told us that Dabo asked them to set up a table for him right there in the tunnel and that if we all were patient, he'd sign for each and every one of us.
About 15 more minutes passed and then Dabo walked in and before he took a seat, told the crowd,"if y'all aren't going home, then neither am I."
He stared signing for people and everyone also wanted a selfie or have someone take a pic of them with Dabo.
About that time, Kathleen walked out from the visitor locker room and took a seat on a gold cart beside Dabo. After about the 3rd person in line asked for a pic as well, Kathleen jumped off the cart and said "let me take the picture for you" and grabbed the ladies phone then proceeded to take the picture...and then took a picture for every other person in that line, using their own phones.
About 2 hours later...2 hours after the event ended, I finally got up and Kathleen reached for my phone and introduced herself and asked where I was from.
Then Dabo and I talked a little about some common friends and my father that lives in Scottsboro, AL. Kathleen chimed in "that's where Unclaimed Baggage is!! I love that place!"
We are all so fortunate to have these 2 in our corner. I think anyone that has ever met her would agree that without Kathleen Swinney, we aren't sitting here today as National Champions.

I just hope they get the credit they deserve from everyone, not just Clemson fans. These are the kinds of folk this nation needs to lift up and show the world as an example of what life is all about.
They are not perfect, but they are going to do the right thing regardless of the consequences. It is not always easy either.

At the ACC championship game I watched the players getting off the bus. She stood at the front seat and hugged each one of them as they passed her to get off the bus. It wasn't just obligatory hugs like you see a lot of times, it was as if she was their mother and was truly embracing each player, and they were truly embracing her in return. Of course I couldn't hear what was being said to each player, but I'm sure the love word was used many times. A guy standing next to me watching said, "That is why this whole thing works."
All In!
