Who does Sammy put on the bench at LB and how soon? Also, will Sammy run it or block in goal line Offense?

From what I’ve read and seen, this kid is got to be a force to reckon with!
I think that we will see him in the rotation early on.

As far as goal line situations are concerned-your guess is as good as mine

Can't wait to see him in the spring game.

I definitely think he gets some snaps - not sure if he'll take someone's spot though.

Carter and Woodaz are slated to start and assuming we're going to be rolling with a 4-2-5 setup most of the time I'm not sure who Sammy would threaten off the bat. However, I wouldn't mind being wrong if he were the second coming of Luke Kueckly or Patrick Willis and just THAT good.

As for offense - I doubt he'll play any significant snaps - probably gets a handoff for those special goaline packages we like to run when the game is in hand. Chances are if we're seriously relying on Sammy as a goaline back then Mafah and Hammerhead are injured and I don't want to even see that as a possibility.

Why would we give it to a freshman LB who is only marginally larger than our Senior RB?

It worked with Christian because of is huge size advantage.

We don't need to force a defensive player getting the ball just for nostalgia sake

Personally, I don't like it just because of the risk of injury. Definitely falls under the "just because you can doesn't mean you should" rule for me.

However, some on this board are in love with the thought of Sammy playing both ways despite our RB depth being sufficient enough to not warrant it.

I could MAYBE see Sammy getting a look if our RB depth went to hellll in a handbasket due to the injury bug but outside of that I just don't see the coaching staff turning to him to tote the rock any outside of special occasions.

Barrett Carter and Sammy Brown will be the LB starts.
Randall, Wesco, Moore, and Williams will be WRs ( offense will look like the 2015 offense with WR counts each play)

Haven’t read yet but I’m going to assume that Kobe McCloud will be the first to the bench. Still don’t think Sammy Starts against GA but will probably start by FSU or NCST.
