Amazing !!
I can lift 375 the hard way, 20 lbs at a time, with a few brief pauses. OK, several long pauses, and help from a neighbor.

Kobe's gonna be a great one. Got a super work ethic - superior character that fits CU perfectly. He says his speed is his weakness, but all video I've seen on him says otherwise. His moves & vision are excellent. Normally, his jukes are so awesome he blows by defenders anyway! I think Pryor's gonna be a special talent at CU.
A big welcome to KP!!

I's not all in the stars . . but why do you think he was only rated 3 stars by everyone?

PetesPonies - I think he gets the "3-star" because he's posted, generally, a 4.75 to 4.85 "40." But trust Tony Elliott. He's going to look much deeper than whether a guy's a flat out burner. Coachability, vision, moves, strength, ALL IN mentality, team guy, natural-born player, heart, humility - overall A+ character. He might not break 'em as often as ET, but he's going to be someone opposing teams have to account for.

we have the speed burners. Now we have the 3rd and short or inside the 5 guy that can carry the pile. For us OLD guys think of Frank Howard's fullbacks that were bigger than the tackles - Charlie Dumas, Bob Swift, Bo Ruffner, Pat Crain, Rudy Hayes to name a few..

If y'all remember. They said Deshaun ran a 4.84 I believe.

And anybody that watched the tape saw him running stride for stride with every DB on the other team. I remember thinking there is no way he runs a 4.84. Then at the combine, when did he run, a 4.66 or something like that. There is no way Kobe runs a 4.84. No way.

First of all, thanks for taking the question seriously. Too many knuckleheads here. . . . . sickening. I ask because most 3 star kids don't rattle the bars here and get much opinion, unless someone knows them well, has seen them play etc. I certainly know nothing of him . was hoping to hear from some that might know more. Thanks

Yup, #### response you got Pete. I think what makes me think stars are many times too subjective are cats like this. ET is another one. Underrated based on his limited involvement in the camp circuit. This guy, as already stated, is just not s burner...yet... if our coaches think he is worthy of an offer as a three, I’d bet the other schools take notice.... Too late ??

To add to what was already said, Pryor also split carries with a senior running back who got a scholarship from West Virginia.

A lot of people believe his lack of elite speed and his limited carries are the reason for his 3 star rating. He is explosive, powerful, and decisive as a runner and seems to put his foot in the ground and cut well.

He's solid as a rock (Ashford & Simpson). And wait till he goes through the strength and conditioning program. Wonder if he'll be like Stacy Driver, the "Ricochet Rabbit" who would bounce off of people.

We’ve had so many RBs that might not have gotten much recognition outside of Clemson but there was no doubt that they gave it everything they had for us.

Back in his day, Stacey Driver was also the #1 rated running back out of Georgia. His class had:
Driver #1 Georgia Steve Griffin #1 NC Bennett #1 SC Flowers #1 FL Flagler #2 FL
Now, that is one heck of a recruiting class for running backs!!!!

There is a clearly defined role for this guy on the team. He needs to pass block and run nasty the few times he gets the ball (particularly near the goal line). Would be another plus if he can catch dump off passes and turn north/south quickly.
IMO, he looked much faster than 4.8 in his highlights.
