guilt-trippy comments....those subside, and it's an increased honey-do list, as if the house is ghana fall apart the week I'm goned.
and then there's the completely unbalanced 'equalizer' of sorts that, so far, has never really panned out...

I fish or hunt almost every weekend. I'm taking a week off in April to exclusively fish and hunt. We also planned a family vacation in June. I married a math teacher. I feel like a woman who teaches math is the most logical and easiest type of woman to get along with.

We've got a cabin rental next week in TN and will do a week at the beach with the kids other years. But my wife and I vacation alone so we can do what we want. I sent one daughter to Germany/Austria last summer the the other one to England the summer before. Let them chose where they wanted to go and do it with kids their age.

I get having almost no leash at all for the first year. I don't get taking kids to stuff like Disney on Ice until 3 or 4. I think once all kids can use the bathroom with no help, both mom and dad should get a week away from them.
