I guess it’s just me but when I was young and dumb all my encounters with law when I was on the wrong side of it, I always answered yes sir no sir. Never yea. I believe in part of that respect I got let go more often than not.

I don't understand why you don't just get an Uber when you are a player in NFL who can definitely afford transportation, or hire a driver. Losing a multi-million dollar career that you are lucky if lasts longer than 4yrs, why throw that away when you only have few yrs to make your millions.

I'm pretty sure he was released, basically didn't play for season but I think he has made another roster now. This is what I recall happened and if I am thinking about right player, he was picked up by Titans months ago. Hopefully he is back on track.

It blows my mind how players that NFL talented, have no issues in strictured environment of college, but have basically worked their entire lives to make it to the NFL then are willing to throw it all away like Tay Bryant. They have played football, gone to camps, and spent 90% of their lives to develop their talent and then once they make it, so many of them just think they don't have to follow the rules any longer.

Just think if these guys were drafted out of High School, without the 3-4yrs to mature in college, time to live on their own but with structure, if they were thrown straight to the wolves, how many of them would make bad decisions once they were on their own with pockets full of money. One of the non-monetary advantages and benefits of kids attending college is the time to mature mentally. Plus I think there are programs like the Paw Journey which focuses on post football/college life.

If it was back in 2019, I’m wondering what the point is of releasing it now.***
