I've got a feeling Gene Chizik lets Dismukes play

Something tells me he doesn't have the balls to suspend him for our game. I'm guessing he'll use some excuse that he needs to "gather all the facts" before making the a decision on the penalty.

My gut says he gets suspended for ULM or Alabama A&M. I hope I'm wrong, but that's how I see it.

Auburn Quarterback Zeke Pike Dismissed

Auburn freshman quarterback Zeke Pike has been dismissed from the team as a direct result of his arrest in June for public intoxication, according to Cincinnati.com.

A prized recruit for coach Gene Chizik for the class of 2012, where he was a U.S. Army All-American player during his senior year at Dixie Heights High School in Kentucky.

He plans on transferring soon.

Although he hurts the team in terms of depth, Bleacher Report's Barrett Sallee says the loss of Pike is not that big of a deal.

Sophomore Kiehl Frazier and true freshman Jonathan Wallace are both performing above and beyond their expectations so far this spring and summer, meaning Pike could have already been the odd man out.

on this one. I think he is a standup guy but his bosses, the booster, run that program just like every other SEC program save for Vandy.

I'd be surprised if the kid doesn't play and I might a little respect for AU.

This is not his first run-in with the law. Over the summer, he and another teammate were in a restaurant and got into a verbal dispute with another guy and his father. Racial slurs (by the two Awbarn players) were said and the manager had to call the police to have them removed from the property. No arrest were made.
In my opinion, this guy had to be causing a scene for him to have been arrested. I was a deputy sheriff for almost 15 years, and you just did not take someone to jail for being drunk. They had to be doing something stupid also. If they were not being a dumbazz you took them home or had them phone a friend to come get them.

If he misses a game it will be Clemson-he can't be that stupid. Maybe his rules don't include missing a game for this offense-don't know.

Dude is not going to play against us. Y'all can think it's just for the week but my Auburn friends are telling me AU is batting down after all the awful off-field problems since last season and especially after the shootings.
