Defensive recruits

Sep 30, 2012, 11:59 AM

All i'm ever reading about our Defensive recruits is how well they are rushing the ball and how many TD's they are scoring. Seems like they play alot more offense in high school than defense. Could this be one of our problems with talent on that side of the ball? Curious what others opinions are on this.

HS kids have to play both ways, usually.

Of course they put up big numbers on offense too--they are superior athletes. They often play in college at the position which is the best fit for their body type and skill set.

So far, Nkemdiche has not done a thing from the defensive end spot, And Dorian o daniel has done nothing at linebacker and it is worrying me a lot. I really don't know if nkemdiche is the best. I think mount adams is the much better player

Nkemdiche is constantly getting tripled team

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

When you have big time recruits especially on Defense it's because they're tremendous Atheletes. SO a lot of times they play both sides of the ball bc their coaches like keeping their jobs and put their playmakers on the field as much as possible.

It's high school football man!

I hope we are recruiting guys that can dominate anywhere on a high school field. I'm pretty sure the best player on any high school team plays on offense and defense.
