Is anyone cooking a pig tonight/tomorrow?

Nov 23, 2012, 9:40 PM

If so, can I stop by? Buddy of mine's father cooked a pig a few weeks ago, and it was the best meat I think I'd ever had.

if you can make it to San Diego, CA by tomorrow PM

you can have some of this pig i have smoking in the ground behind my apartment in Pacific Beach....i'll be out here all night with my buddies Wild Turkey Rare Breed 108 and Michelob Amber Bock....and my neighbor, an Oregon grad who has on my purple #23 Tiger jersey (and is helping me) while i have my purple #6 Charlie Whitehurst special jersey waiting for the Chicken stomp tomorrow afternoon.....we fired up the pit about an hour ago and i have it shot full of vinegar/brown sugar/red pepper SC barbeque and all of my neighbors are going to watch the Chicken stomp with me since they are all closet Tiger fans from living around me the last 3 years in SD. My neighbor ran track at Oregon, the lady below me is a Trojan grad and the lady across from me is a UCLA grad and they all are Tiger fans tomorrow and they'll eat some vinegar pepper pig tomorrow and drink some Wild Turkey with me for the Tigers...

#### sounds like a blast. Maybe next year's game we will fly you out to Clemson to cook up a pig for a few college kids. ;)

That sounds incredible right now.

PAC-12 folks with me so we can show them what passion really is.....though i must say the Duck fans can give us a run for their money....they are fanatics just like we are.

I'm a closet Duck fan as well, I love the offense they run, and from what I hear the Oregon fans have a special place in their hearts for Clemson and our boys.

I think both programs have stuff in common and to me Oregon is what Clemson could be with a few more years of great recruiting, coaching, and perfect execution.

And thank you for your service, people like you are the reason why we get to sit back and watch football on Saturdays and Sundays.

got 15 years in the Corps and no matter where i'm stationed, i manage to follow the Tigers just as hard as i did when i was a kid.....thanks to the internet and CFB packages on Time Warner, etc....i went to the Duck/Trojan game in the LA Coliseum a couple of weeks ago and i'm telling you, they raise some serious hell man.....they are LOUD as hell and it reminds you of the passion in the Southeast for CFB....they know the game and their fans took over the Coliseum with the "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" chant when they do the "O" with their hands, etc....they know about Clemson too....i had some good chats with a bunch of their fans and they really know the game and hate the Trojans like we do the Chickens....i felt right at home.
