With the number of new players we are playing, Upstate & USuC coming up on the schedule; I'd be happy splitting the next 4 games. I'd love to win them all but I'm also remaining realistic right now. We are missing two of our best arms, USuC (as much as I hate to admit) is a good team and our fiercest rival, and Upstate arguably has the most talented team they've had in decades. They will come into DKS Tuesday expecting a resume win. I'd feel a lot more confident about these next 4 games if they were scheduled late March.

Not really a newbie just had to get a new profile a couple of years ago due to being hacked. Being called a Coot doesn't really bother me as I'm pretty secure in my Clemson allegiance and lifelong fandom. Especially since I surpass most fans here on Tigernet with my alumni status alone. Some on here have no idea how to take their orange-colored glasses off and their immediate defense mechanism is to shout Coot. If they can show me their brick at the Esso Club, locate Fernow Cafe on campus, know the coal pile / hog farm shortcut to avoid game traffic, tell me where the 2nd hill used to be located in Death Valley or where the McDonalds with all you could eat pancakes during exam weeks used to be located; then I may engage in a conversation with them. Haha

Gordon most likely will be back this weekend. Garris I assume you’re talking is the other arm banged up. He won’t be out long but they’ll slowly bring him back like all arms. Plus he is a reliever anyway. Gordon wasn’t ramped up yet so why haven’t seen him part of the rotation.

What Clemson fan would be “happy” losing a series to the coots?
(assuming we beat Upstate)

I would take 3-1, though.
Winning the series is huge.

Winning this series is huge but I wish they’d play later…but also if we lost this series it’s not over for us. I usually don’t take anything away especially so early in year.

I agree, it won’t make or break the season. We saw that play out last year.

But I think it would be big for Bakich to beat those guys in year 2.
