I have some legitimate questions I hope you can help me with

I get the fact that you can't win turning the ball over but that is no excuse for a poor gameplan,

On offense Morris must agree with the Coots that they are in Tajhs head because he appeared to simplify the game plan a if a red shirt freshman were playing QB. The only weapons they gave him was Watkins and McDowell for most of the night. What happened to spreading the field with Watkins, Williams and Bryant at the same time? Also after watching the Florida game vs the Coots you would think they would have ran the ball about 45 times. Why no Brooks or Davidson if they were good to go? Morris states publicly that he wants to run the ball but compare our offense with Auburn and it's not close.

On defense I could not help but wonder if Kevin Steele slipped in the back door last night. You mean to tell me the staff was clueless that if we stopped Davis that Shaw would run wild? After 2 weeks of stopping an option attack you would think somebody would be there to spy him.

I was told by someone close to the program that the staff let the GAs focus on The Citadel and they started game planning for the coots a week early. If that was true then they should be even more embarrassed with what they brought to the table

They did a great job of letting Shaw read the rush and then take off running the football. I also think to stop Shaw you have to have good LB play. Our LB's have done a good job but I just think they are to slow to stop a good running QB in open space. We could have spied him but I think he would have still got his yards. Venalbles said he tried everything but nothing worked at least he is able to admit that he had no answers with players he had on the field.

The root cause of the questions you raise go straight to coaching.

We have the talent, although our offensive line is weak.

But that is no excuse for not developing a strategy to minimize your own weaknesses and exploit your opponents.

We went into that game, knowing what they did last year, and with no strategy to counter it.

That is coaching.

Davis ran wild - what game were you watching? Shaw yes.***
