It's a beautiful place, especially with all the iguanas and land crabs running around. Nothing like getting drunk and into a fight at the Lateral Hazard to stir the senses. Go Coast Guard ... Semper Paratus.

I have been to GTMO 5 times over 2011 and 2012

Not a lot to do except fish and scuba dive
Internet is extremely slow
GOVT workers there move even slower

I have seen a Jeep Wrangeler there with Clemson tags, is that yours?

Oh yeah....spent many a day in lovely GTMO. Within the same week I ran a boat aground in fleet landing AND got pulled in by the Shore Patrol and thrown in hack after me and some friends attempted to drunkenly walk our way back to the ship from the O Club. To say that I have fond memories of GTMO is an understatement.

No, that's not me. I was in GITMO several times between 1994

and 1997. In fact, I flew home out of the airport at GITMO. When I was in the Coast Guard my cutter stopped in GITMO at least 12 times, even did an ammo ###### there once (I was a gunner's mate). Hotter than Vulcan's balls that place. Miss it though. Lot's of funny memories.
I really like Roosevelt Roads in PR. That was seriously a good port call. Too bad the base was closed by BRAC.

"o n l o a d" is both an HTML reserved word, I believe, that tells the page to run something javascript. It's censored to keep the Tigernet code from doing something unexpected/potentially leave the site vulnerable to hacking.

My brother was stationed there in the early 80s. His stories sounded like there was very little to do. He said they had to put up a net to keep the baracuda out so that they could swim.
