exactly what is wrong with Brownell basketball teams at Clemson (even though I have some opinions), but you don't have to be any kind of expert to see that there is a consistent, ongoing, long-term problem. I can't say if it's 100% Brownell's fault, or 80%, or 50%, or 10%; it doesn't matter. At this point Brownell is inextricably tied to the results and to his record at Clemson. Anybody who tries to justify or rationalize it at this point, and suggest that Clemson can't do any better or should not make a change at season's end, is a full blown idiot. Just stop it with the excuses and rationalizing. Clemson basketball desperately needs new life, a new direction. Clemson basketball needs hope and excitement. Clemson fans, players, and students deserve it.
