We did take shelter at 2:00 am in the safe room and lost a bit of sleep but no power loss. It hailed a bit for the second time in 8 hours. I had a Hardee's biscuit for breakfast. And I saw a gobbler crossing the field this morning. He gobbled twice and crossed the road.

and busted out of her room, woke me up scratching on our bedroom door about the same time you were hunkering.
When I looked at the forecast before bed they were calling for rain but not thunderstorms so I left her in her room but out of the kennel. I guess this time of yr I am going to kennel her every night.

I have to shove the pill down her throat to make her eat it, so it takes a little work. The first meds we tried made her comatose but still scared so she was just laying in the corner panting.

Same. I have no idea how safe it actually is, but it's the bunker, for better or worse.
Whenever we get a storm I move the wifi/cams to the backup battery so it will work if we lose power and I can still monitor the outside with the security cameras from the bunker. Got enough room for two tailgating chairs. Have some supplies in there (plus water). The dream-the-dream next phase for it is an access hatch to the crawlspace, walter white style.

Kid was playing a soccer match in the thunder and lightning. We were near CB and it was storming bad north of Wilmington, about 20 minutes away, and you could see the lightening. At halftime, the parents basically all took their kids and left, so the game ended at halftime. Bottom dropped out as we got to Chik-fil-A for dinner.
It was not NEARLY as bad here as you guys have had it.
