rhettfla already has a hunting invite- maybe you should tag along. I once took 2 guys who got tired of hearing about the deer I shot along the Saluda River - they had told me to stop my Monday reports about deer unless I got 2 deer with one shot. When I took them, I saw 2 deer moving across a hillside perfectly aligned and dropped both with one shot. When I met them back at the truck, they hadn't seen anything and asked what I had shot at. I asked if they remembered telling me not to brag unless I got 2 with one shot & you should've seen their faces. I said, 'Yep - got one for you to drag and one for you to drag".

can just drive a truck right up to them but one is in a place where you have to walk single file going through a thicket - do have to drag them out of there

That sounds like a good setup. The first buck I ever shot was in PA and there was about 3 feet of snow on the ground. I had to drag (more like slide) him about 20 yards down a pretty steep hill to the logging road. Biggest problem on that one was making sure I got him stopped on the road so he didn’t slide on down the hill. He’s still one of the biggest bucks I ever shot and he’s on the bonus room wall. When I started hunting the big lease properties in Clinton and Pacolet I needed an ATV to get them out.

with Tigershells

Came home and thawed a homemade green chili with chicken and put it on top of some medium pasta shells and a slew of cubed & seasoned air fried veggies: sweet potato, onion, squash, carrots, green pepper, celery
Jalapeños, cheddar and sour cream to top

Threw it all together in a bowl… served with some sourdough slices toasted in the cast iron with butter, garlic and onion powder, topped with some shaky parm and fresh parsley

Did alright 🤙🏽
