BINGO. Seems like those questions are starting extra early this year.

Actually, Nick didn’t weigh in on that. Nor should he have…

The NFL will tell Bryan Bresee he's ready

His almost guaranteed first round status may play a part. However,
With all he's been through, he may want to come back and really focus on improving. Based on the FSU game, I don't think he's back to 100% healthy

Ok, since the question is out there, I guess we will see. If he gets back 100% and is focused, and is able to play lights out the rest of the season? But otherwise, he has missed the bulk of this season, AND last season. That's a big risk for teams who would have been considering him in the top 10-15 most likely this season.

Hard to disagree with. Right now his actual resume is thin.

If he’s a first round pick, it would have to be on measurables and potential.
For NFL guys that may be enough, though.

Absolutely, but some fans believe all they have to do is play in our defense, forgetting even tho they play in the best team in our conference, we still play in the ACC, and it's just really difficult to judge our players talent (The Truth) playing against weak ACC teams!!!

ACC really isn’t that weak, it’s actually improved this season. Stop watching ESPN and listening to that BS they spew 24/7.

This might sound stupid but I thought you had to be at least a junior before you could move on to the nfl ? or what is the requirements I know most players don't go until at least there after there junior year and I thought Bryian was a SO. ?

3 years as an eligible player I think is the rule. Bresee had a Covid year as well as redshirt as a SO last year. So technically he could play 2 more seasons past this one. If he does elect to go out this year he’d probably have the lowest snap count in college of any NFL draftee. Just a guess there

Actually I'm thinking no. A few years ago Bosa shut it down a couple games into the season with an "abdominal injury " to prepare for the draft. In a nutshell, he did what some thought Clowney was going to do.

Christian Wilkins would be a good person for him to discuss this with. Each person’s circumstances are different, but discussing with someone who’s faced same decision is invaluable.

He's been through a lot and it shows. He appears to have gained some weight during the ordeal and I really wonder how many weeks he missed in the weight room, not to mention practices. His play against the Seminoles was not good - not remotely related to BB at full speed. Time will tell if he's able to get it turned around by year end - no fault of his for sure if he can't. If he does get the boat turned then maybe first round. A slight improvement from the Fla State game and I don't think he would have any choice but to come back as he would drop 2-3 rounds IMO. Wish him the best and hope he can get back to form mentally and physically.

There are some guys who come out of high school with "1st

Round NFL Draft Pick" preordained for them. What happens in their college careers, for right or wrong, doesn't seem to change that a whole lot. I think Bresee is one of those guys. He DOES need to stay on the field the rest of the year to alleviate injury concerns, that would be the one thing that COULD derail a first round pick for him.

BB needs to focus first on being the best defensive lineman on this team first. He has the potential…have not seen consistency this year.

He'd be silly to move on with the incredibly disrupted season he's had. The NFL likes to see production as proof positive of somebody's ability...no fault of his whatsoever given the horrific life circumstances he's faced this year but that proof positive isn't there right now and that kills somebody's draft stock.
Especially given that he'll get decent-to-better-than-decent NIL money to return, he'd be silly to jump early if he's not going as a high first-rounder. The difference between a Top-10 pick and everybody else is massive.

If he finishes the season healthy

then he easily goes first round, his upside is too much to pass on. He will be a much better player this time next year in the pros.
JMHO.

I have seen very little of him and from him this year. Infection and Ella's death has totally disrupted his season. Looks slow and heavy to me. Last Saturday he let a guy right through his hands. Has to slim down some and get stronger. I don't know, another year in Tiger town might not be bad for him.
