I don’t disagree with that list. I either have or had every bottle not only on the list but in the pictures. I wish I had resold the rip van winkle and the antique van winkle bottle. Eagle rare 10 year is better than any Van Winkle. Benchmark and ancient age is my go to when the others are hard to find (almost always in NC). I’m thankful we have our allocated system and only have to pay msrp for those bottles. Blanton’s is a bit over rated but does have a nice spice profile many others are missing. That said, I have found a few remote ABC stores that always have a bottle of Eagle rare in stock. Usually they have Blanton’s and Stagg as well. Stagg is an excellent high octane bourbon and doesn’t taste like it’s over 100 proof. Very approachable.

Sorry Tugaloo! I too collect fine weapons of mass zombie destruction. My latest is a KSG pump. The dual feed tube monster. It’s a handful!

I have only tried the BT products below, listed in the order of preference. The only head-to-head tasting I have done was E.H. vs. Blanton's vs. Eagle. If I were to do more head-to-head tastings, the order might change.

If the first three were readily available, there is a good chance I wouldn't even bother with the rest.
