This one would be a no brainer, as I live less than five miles north of the Academy. I'd be at the game, along with a surprising number of Clemson grads who live in both Colorado Springs and Denver area.

I lived in the Spings for several years and watched a lot of games in that stadium. It's a beautiful place. When I left, nearly 30 years ago, there wasn't much between North Gate Blvd and Castle Rock. I imagine that's changed quite a bit. Gotta get back out there for a visit one of these days.

Tailgating at sunset on the fairway of a CC just prior to a Rose Bowl takeover would be a dream.

I agree with you about going to Michigan. Best friend is a Blue fan, would be a fun one.
For tailgating purposes only... Ole Miss, see what the hype is all about.

Haha this sounds like it has a story to it. As for away games you couldn’t drag me back to Maryland, but I’d like to see a game vs Wisconsin up there.

just that Florida reminds me of Notre Dame & Michigan and the love fest that comes from the media with those schools. Constantly overhyped. Constantly ranked too high, even when they lose 2-3 games in a season, they're still over ranked.

We both "owe them" two things!
1. A A-whipping 2. A Big Thank You for bringing on the Brent Venables Era at Clemson!
So, the Mountaineers while deserving of that whooping; did at least one good thing that night.

Exactly! Forget Michigan, Florida, Southern Cal or anyone else. Nothing could be sweeter than beating the defending national champs UGA in Athens.

The honest Georgia fans will tell you

Is saying, "the honest Georgia bulldogs fan" an oxymoron? Anyway, the Georgia fans who leave their emotion out of it know they got lucky against the Tigers! They were fully loaded and healthy and Clemson had offensive issues w/o their defense being on the field let alone with it on the field and they scored 3 points "on offense"! I higher caliber opponent takes advantage of Clemson playing basically 1 handed and beats us worse! I didn't think the SEC was great last year, but Georgia was the best of a bunch of teams with issues! So, credit goes to the Bulldogs for that at least! I know about the draft picks BTW, but we struggled with defenses w/o all those draft picks! So, not as impressed honestly with their chip. I am "probably" rightfully so in the minority, and I get it. I just really think they should be thankful Clemson didn't have a typical high-powered offense. Yeah, going to Georgia would be sweet too! I would still like to make the trip to Ann Arbor! From a visual standpoint; the maize and blue and the regalia and orange would make a great scene.

Ole Miss just because we could increase our recruiting efforts in Mississippi. The state produces a lot of talent and doesn’t have a dominant school. .

Choice A-1. Michigan. B. Ole Miss

I hadn't thought about the recruiting factor in Mississippi, but yeah that would be a great recruiting tool.
Maybe Rutgers and Maryland for the same reason while we are at it. The DMV has plenty of talent that ends up in Big 10 country. New Jersey H.S. football is actually really good to; Rutgers is just bad.
TBH - if Clemson can keep going into Atlanta and beating the Jackets it serves a great purpose in recruiting as well. Clemson has traditionally gotten a lot of talent from the greater Atlanta area; no reason to change that. Coach Collins is trying to lock up the city with his "404 campaign". But, apparently, Clemson has the "770" part of Atlanta because we do very well in the greater Atlanta area.

The UTES and the AF would be scenic venues. Oregon, that stadium looks like it would be a good time in Eugene.
The coliseum looks archaic imo and have always thought USC could do better. Guessing it’s the age but never have thought much of that place.
The Rose Bowl looks awesome on tv. One of the nicer set ups for the bowl game at the end of the year.

I'd like to play USCw at their house and Tennessee too. I've been in UT stadium and that place was loud. Back in the early 1970s my high school sweetheart was a student there and invited me to attend, students got in free and she furnished a student ticket and ID. IDs didn't have photos back then.
Auburn came to Knoxville. The roar of the crowd was similar to the roar at Death Valley back in the mid 1980s when things got hot on the field. Auburn got the lead at the 3 min mark so we left to beat the crowd. UT came back and won the game, I could hear the roar from miles away when the clock ran out.
I'd love to go to UT and put another buttwhuppin on them.
