GT vs Clemson A lot has been said on here about GT's

horrible passing game and horrendous defense. Despite the fact they're 2-3 coming into this game, when you look at the two most important statistics, there's not a hair's worth of difference. In terms of Scoring Offense and Scoring Defense, we're so close together that if it were a political poll we'd be in a dead heat.

I never take GT for granted. It seems that they have the weirdest streak of LUCK against us. It's gotten so bad that I think they expect and believe they'll win. They've gotten to the point that they think they own us and no matter the records, something will happen to tip the outcome in their favor. That's a dangerous opponent.

We need to unleash an unholy barrage of smackdown on them early and not let up. It's when we let them hang around in the second half that the weirdness happens. The only way we can change their mindset is to demoralize them in the first quarter.

I took my wife to her first Clemson game when we were just dating in 2004 for the GT debacle. Calvin Johnson haunted my dreams for years after that unlikely collapse. We'll be in the stands on Saturday. I don't want to witness anything like that again. Thank the good Lord there is no Calvin Johnson this time around.

I believe we will get GT's A game and best shot. Last season we were Top 10 and GT burst the bubble on our season. Definitely contributed to our slide at the end of the season. W/ that said, every year Dabo has his team shedding the " pulling a Clemson " as people have called it in recent years. Case in point, BC last weekend. A CTB would've blown that game. That wasn't always the case here, and I truly believe that Dabo will get us to play @ a high level weekend and weekout. GT will get our best shot as well

Early, but our Offense once it gets a lead will force GT out of it's core running game and into passing.

They lit us up throwing the ball last year. I know that's not their strength, but I'm not assuming they can't throw it on us. I expect Garry Peters to start opposite Breeland. Hopefully, that translates to NO BLOWN COVERAGES. Letting a receiver run free has been our biggest problem. Peters played the pass much better than Darius Robinson. I'm hoping BV has found the solution in GP.

1) Clearly their defense is as bad as we've faced. Ours would never give up 49 to a Sun Belt(middle of the road at that) team.

2) Their B back is not as explosive as in the past(key position)

3) No big time receiver(as in the past)

We don't allow long passes on busted coverages(a big if) and we'll win handily.

That is the only way I see them really hurting us in the passing game, too. The bad news is we've had busted coverages all five weeks so far. Peters will (hopefully) help in that regard, but there seems to be a lot to fix when it comes to our secondary.
