Currently up more than 130% in premarket trading, after a 74% increase yesterday. From $17.46/share on Friday afternoon to over $70/share right now.
AMC stock is doing similar things, from $2.91/share of Friday afternoon to over $11/share right now.

from the $300/share for GameStop and AMC was in the $70/share range at the highest point. Those holding onto bags have been wasting time in the market if they sat on this.
Sometimes you just get caught with your hand in cookie jar. It happens, and unless it gets back to those levels which could happen but not likely, that cookie jar was deeper than the Mariana trench.

Wow, anyone holding that was royally screwed. Buy at the top you get hammered. Too bad you never know where that top is but anybody purchasing that around $300 was way late to a party that was already over.
May they all get their money back and live happily ever after.

Anyone who saw that Roaring Kitty tweet on Sunday night and bought calls on Monday morning is up big right now. I'm sure some people will feel the FOMO and buy in at the top, but a lot of other people are going to make a lot of money in a span of just a few days.

I made a lot of money on AMC and Clover Health back in 2021. I get it. And good for them.
But the reality is that everyone can make money simply by buying a US total stock market fund, consistently, over a 20 year period. But so few of us want to play the long game. We want instant gratification instead.

It seems I recall AMC using that last opportunity to sell more shares, which made the fall back much greater. As a legit company, they are in trouble right now. They're right up there with Cracker Barrel and CARMAX.
